The National Academy of Engineering (NAE) has identified 14 areas awaiting engineering solutions in the 21st century. Taylor's University Malaysia is the first Malaysian university to embrace grand challenges in its curriculum to enhance the student interest and increase the visibility and importance of engineering and science.
